Chemicals sprayed into Tropical Storm Irene kill leaves on Cape Cod

Notice that the leaves are suddenly brown on living trees ?

That's not normal in a place that has leaves on trees until October.

The question will be, did the government mismanagement also kill the trees ?

One way to break up a hurricane is by spraying it with chemicals. Nice. Preserve the property and kill the owners out of the assumption that everyone has a loan ?

So all that matters is the property, not human lives ?
