Bungling Malloy leading backwards, power outages up 7400

Update at 856 EDT: Someone in the Malloy administration, Courant or utilities figured out how to use the calculator in Windows or stopped lying. It's still pitiful progress after 24 hours. Most of the repairs were most likely large blocks as usual, only adding to the sham.

Fourteen (yes, fourteen) customers were restored in Wethersfield. That brings it from 12364 to 12350 ! Wow ! Good work guys ! We can assume based on stated plans, that those are likely businesses and government. Somewhere, Gaddafi may be laughing at this.

POWER OUTAGES IN CONNECTICUT
Total: 727,697 CL&P: 720,763 UI: 6,934

Earlier:

An hour ago the Hartford Courant (sorry I can't deal with NSTAR's state secrets and I do mean that literally... look here for their infrequently updated and primitive text list) said:

POWER OUTAGES IN CONNECTICUT
Total: 750,509 CL&P: 751,701 UI: 8,116

Now it's:

POWER OUTAGES IN CONNECTICUT
Total: 757,925 CL&P: 740,619 UI: 7,416

And that's with UI and CL&P's reductions.

Can't they add ? Why was the total passed off as lower than it was ?

Indeed, what happened to the UI claim of full resolution by tonight as stated yesterday ?

Come on, Malloy. Stop worrying about warding off Halloween and giving what looked like relatives helicopter rides and do your job.

What is with you people that you all let it get out of control before you act ? Do you think it amplifies the appearance of you caring when you do finally act after seven days ?

You have 12364 out of 12364 customers out in Wethersfield. You have 9745 out of 9745 out in Rocky Hill. You have 15403 out of 15403 customers out in Glastonbury.

And you're lecturing on trick or treating to show you "care" ?

It's been 24 hours. You're now an official imbecile. Enjoy your next election.

In 2005, after Merck took my life in 1998, I nearly died from staying in a 38 degree building during the blizzard after a dispatcher put me in my place for daring to suggest 4 days with no power was extreme with heart failure.

That's why I care.
