US drone crew had tab of $1,457,784 for 4 months of accommodations

This is an outrage.

In 4 months, a US drone crew wasted $1,457,784 of US tax dollars on "accommodations," while pretending to be in the military.

When they weren’t flying the Reapers, the drone crew spent $937,260 on “Food/Liberty,” or about $11,400 per person over a four-month period ending in December 2009 (the Reapers arrived in late September).

Expenses also included $51,760 for vehicle rentals, $70,777 for aircraft fuel and $598,363 for the catchall category of “facilities/services.”

This isn't a War on Terror. There is no Terror, only sham operations.

This is a War on the Citizens that was started by scaring the citizenry into giving the military, police and fire whatever they want, after people I knew died that day. It is maintained by scaring them.

This goes hand in hand with 5 PM trips to the local Dunkin Donuts driving a sports car named COBRAH.

Does that sound like our brave, "struggling to get by," military, either ?
