The Un-Godlike Dannel

The Rocky Hill Ferry, which connects the Hartford suburbs of Rocky Hill and Glastonbury, has been threatened with closure for years because of the expense involved in running it. The state expects to save more than $800,000 over two years by closing it , along with another ferry farther down the river in Chester — part of a long list of state services that are being cut to close a $1.6 billion budget gap.

Residents say the ferry is an important summertime attraction for locals and tourists, and they will be sad to see it go.

What did it cost to raid Governor Malloy's house repeatedly when he was Mayor of Stamford, and to prosecute the Governor's son that he proudly presented at the inauguration ?

He allegedly sold drugs to a wired informant four times during a two-month investigation, according to a police report.

Tuesday was the second time the mayor's home was searched by police.

If he watched his family instead of plotting since 2006 to gut the state for his handlers (oh yeah, the same ones), in his own house, he might not have had to cut the longest running ferries in America staffed by DOT that plow snow the rest of the year... without collecting a $3 toll.

Now, if your house was searched because of your son at least twice, would you look a little complacent to the police rather than running for and being elected Governor ?
