Speaker DeLeo: "These are not the droids you're looking for."

How do you go from early morning scandal to "these are not the droids you're looking for" ?

You hand the case over to the Massachusetts Speaker to wave his Jedi hand and deny it even though outlets around the world are reporting it.

If it works for Building 7 which travesty started out in Massachusetts, why not ?

Ignoring truth gets you far.

How would the Speaker know ? Was he there too, at 4 AM ? And was the guard that found them there from say, midnight to 4 ?

The Massachusetts House of Representatives has an Ethics Committee. Why wasn’t this situation referred to the Committee? Why is the Speaker solely making the call on Cusack? According to all reports, the Representative gave another person’s name when he was caught fooling around in the House Chamber. Do we really want this liar making our laws?

Mark Cusack, according to Howie Carr's listeners, pulled his campaign website, fast. Indeed we see that the server resets.

Is that "innocence" ?

This state schooled winner made the papers in Britain and no doubt Massachusetts confused the readers this morning when they woke up with a mistaken notion that in the USA we don't excuse people just because the Speaker says there are no rules and then asked Cusack and the woman if they did anything wrong...

If he was a Republican would we hear about what his family did for Braintree ?

Would we hear demands that he have something more done than a laying of hands exoneration ?

I'm reminded of a Quincy mayor saying he doesn't know there are Iraqi Republican Guard members hanging out in town. They did a lot for Quincy.
