Where were they on 9/11 ? Umbrella, not gun, caused Massachusetts mall evacuation.

An umbrella is not and never will be a firearm in Burlington any more than a Lite Brite is a bomb in Boston.

“It was interpreted to be a gun by five different people,” said Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent. “We are always telling people to be vigilant. This is what we want.”

"This is what we want" ? Does that mean the overtime, the chance to play enhanced Army dress-up, or a chance to write up a new grant requests after an "incident" ?

If you evacuate a mall for an umbrella, you're wrong. You look stupid. You can't spin it unless you're working over a Burlington soccer mom that doesn't know that Zbiginew Brzerzinski founded "al Qaida" and not Osama bin Laden.

People can die because you've "activated", locked and loaded like a bunch of schutzstaffel nuts.

Welcome to Massachusetts, launch pad for 9/11. Whatever it was.

Most states arrest drug addicted doctors who fondle female patients in Worcester, before they nearly kill Phi Beta Kappas in Dennis. But a tool is a tool, right ?

Unless you're a moron, it looked like a Katana sword, not a gun... but then someone in Massachusetts would have to know what a Katana sword or umbrella are, first...
